Campground Rules

ALL CAMPERS ARE REQUIRED TO ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES AND ARE ENFORCED BY CAMPGROUND PERSONNEL


1. CHECK IN time is from 1PM - 10PM CHECK OUT: 11 AM
 

NOTE : all campers must check in prior to parking in a campsite.


2. FEES (includes applicable tax)

  • Sites 1 – 10 (power provided) $37.00-$42.00/night

  • Remaining Sites, including overflow $30.00-$35.00/night

  • Second vehicle at a camp site $15.00/night

  • A site booking consists of a travel/camper trailer and a supplementary tent.

  • Additional tents only are permitted and are charges out at the overflow rate 

  • Maximum continual length of stay in one site is 14 nights

  • Shower only (non registered guest) $5.00

  • Sani Dump (non registered guest) $10.00

 

3. GENERAL

  • The Village of Nakusp and the campground manager are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Dogs are welcome but must be tethered and or on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible to pick up and dispose of feces as per Village Bylaws.

  • Dogs cannot be left unattended

  • Fires are permitted in fire pits only and are subject to fire bans.

  • Firewood is available for purchase from the campground manager.

  • Garbage burning is not permitted in fire pits.

  • Damage to trees is not permitted

  • Quiet time is 10PM to 7AM (Ball Tournament may have waivers)

  • R/V Generators may only be used from 9AM to 11AM and 6PM to 8PM.

  • Generators must not be left on unattended.

  • Campground speed limit is 5km/hr

  • Reservation changes may result in non-availability.

  • Reservations on long weekends must be for at least 3 nights. Single night reservations are not taken during this period

Cancellation Policy

  • The reservation name is the only party that has the right to change or cancel reservation. Cancellations and changes must be made through email at
    camp@nakuspcampground.com

  • A change in reservation will incur a $10 fee.

  • Cancellation outside of 30 days of arrival will receive full refund minus the $booking fee.

  • Cancellation within 30 days of arrival, 1 night fee and $5 booking fee will be forfeited.

  • Cancellation within 14 days of arrival, the first and second night of your reservation will be forfeited plus the $5 booking fee.

  • Cancellation within 48 hours of arrival, will result in a full forfeiture of your reservation and $5 booking fee.

  • If you are a no-show for your reservation and have not contacted the campground by 11:00am of the second day, your reservation will be cancelleand the site will be resold.

  • Inclement weather, Evictions, and/or Vacating your site early will not be given refunds.

  • Refunds for Wildfires and Air Quality Issues (Wildfire Smoke) will only be provided if the campground is within a Government Evacuation Order. The $5 non-refundable booking fee will not be refunded.
