Our village is a vibrant, safe and friendly lakeshore community nestled on the shores of Upper Arrow Lake in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. We are surrounded by the beautiful Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges, natural and developed hot springs and the historic Arrow Lakes.

Arrow Lake
Just a few minutes’ walk from the campground, the shores of Upper Arrow Lake invite you to slow down and enjoy the view. This gorgeous lake is known for its stunning scenery, great fishing, and abundant recreation. Launch your boat at the nearby boat launch or carry your kayak, canoe, or standup paddleboard straight down from the campground. The sandy beach is an ideal spot to spend a sunny afternoon reading, relaxing, or playing by the water with the kids.
Mountain Biking
Nakusp is an up-and-coming mountain biking destination in British Columbia. The Kuskanax area offers scenic multi-use routes that can be accessed by bike from the campground, while the Mount Abriel trail network is just a short drive away and features a growing system of purpose-built mountain bike trails for a range of skill levels. Hot Springs
Relax and unwind at one of three nearby hot springs, all within an easy drive of the campground. Nakusp Hot Springs is only 15 minutes away and offers both hot and warm pools for year-round soaking. Halcyon Hot Springs and Halfway Hot Springs are slightly farther, but still an easy and rewarding trip. The perfect way to relax and soothe those well-earned, adventure-weary muscles.
Golf
The Nakusp Centennial Golf Club is a short drive from the campground. With 9-holes on grass greens, spectacular mountain views and a Licensed Fairway Café loaded with hospitality, it’s a great way to spend your day.
Hiking
Hiking in the Kootenays? Check that off your bucket list with some amazing hikes in the Nakusp area. From short family strolls at Cedar Grove to longer day trips climbing the iconic Saddle Mountain, Nakusp has it all!
Downtown
A short walk from the campground is downtown Nakusp. Take a stroll down Broadway St to check out the shops, restaurants, and cafes. On the way back to the campground, make sure to take the Waterfront Walkway to enjoy the lake views and beautiful flower gardens!
